School of Engineering

This is where possibility becomes reality

Operating across multiple sectors we undertake transformational engineering that’s designed to change people’s lives for the better.

We are active across a range of fundamental engineering disciplines, yet our work is interdisciplinary, reflecting the face of modern engineering.

Our research and teaching fuse work on structures, movement, control and automation, and embrace both the physical and digital aspects of engineering. We are home to aerospace, materials, automotive, civil, environmental, mechanical, automation, control, and biomedical engineering.

Together we are working to ensure a resilient, sustainable and healthy future for all.
