"What I love most about Surrey is the people. Everyone has been so kind and welcoming in a way I hadn’t experienced before. I’ve made amazing friends through societies and events—connections I wouldn’t have had if I hadn’t come to the University of Surrey."
What do you like about your course and why?
I really enjoy the wide range of topics we cover—from networking and security to assembly language. This variety keeps the course engaging and exciting because there’s always something new to learn.
I also appreciate how approachable my professors are; it’s easy to reach out to them or ask questions on the discussion forum whenever I need help.

Your advice to new students
Make time not just for studying and keeping up with your coursework, but also for meeting new people and exploring everything the University of Surrey has to offer. Guildford is a lovely town too, so I’d highly recommend taking some time to discover it.
