I highly recommend study abroad as it's good to experience university life and studies from another culture whilst under the guidance and funding support from the both universities. You will mainly module match, but you also get the chance to explore subjects that aren't within your degree.
Entry year
2023What do you like about your course and why?
I like how the name truly matches the aims of studying the course. It focuses on key drivers in the world such as innovation, digitalisation and technology and throughout the degree you will physically watch yourself transform into a well-equipped entrepreneur.
What do you enjoy most about Surrey?
I like that it has a balance between core academia and extracurricular activities. Surrey's like a hidden treasure - it doesn't need to be in the city to hold value. If you're willing to dig, you will find some truly beautiful opportunities whether that's on or outside of campus.
Surrey Sports Park is discounted for students and has a wide range of activities to get into, the campus lake is like a massive garden where you can relax and admire nature, there are plenty of 24hr spaces to study and work, and the amenities for students are very thoughtful and useful such as MySurrey Hive, MySurrey Nest and other spaces in the student union and faculty buildings.

I completed a semester abroad at the Poole College of Management in North Carolina State University during the second year of my degree.

Overall, I had a fun time in America. The teaching, the people, the food, and the culture are all beautiful to experience first-hand and a lot of things I learnt academic-wise and about myself personally, I was able to implement when I came back to the UK and these have been truly life-changing for me.
What do you want to do when you graduate?
When I graduate, I want to gain some industry experience for a few years through a graduate job/programme before starting up my own business in the EdTech and Corporate Training industries and later venturing into different areas and fields to build up a business conglomerate.
