What are your career plans?
Prior to pursuing the MSc Sustainable Energy programme at Surrey University, I acquired one year's practical work experience in the renewable energy sector in India which gave me exposure to solar and wind energy projects.
After joining Surrey, I was fortunate to secure a job within just two months at a UK-based company, allowing me to further apply and expand my skills in designing and managing renewable energy systems. In the short term, I plan to continue in this role to gain more hands-on experience and deepen my understanding of the sector. In the future, I hope to return to India and start my own venture focused on solar energy solutions, such as installations or sustainable energy consulting, contributing to clean energy adoption and supporting India’s sustainable development goals.
