Veterinary Biosciences BScWhat do you like about your course and why?
The diversity of subjects available is my favourite part of my course. Although everyone starts off with the same modules in first year, being able to tailor my learning to my interests was amazing.
What do you enjoy most about Surrey?
There are so many aspects that made my time so enjoyable at Surrey. The campus life is what stood out to me at first. Meeting and living with friends on campus was really fun. It also means that everything I wanted, from nightlife to sports facilities, was around me.
What do you want to do when you graduate?
Once I graduate, I will go on to study veterinary medicine to become a vet. Like many others on my course, we start with a great interest in the veterinary field. I really think that this degree will help greatly with my career as a vet.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to study this course?
It can be hard and daunting to choose a course and university. But this course will give you the means to go into so many different scientific careers. By the end of the degree, you will have studied such a wide range of interesting subjects that you will know which career you want to pursue!
