Why did you choose to study at Surrey?

I chose this university because of its reputation for academic excellence. It is ranked amongst the top universities in the UK. The course provided so much understanding about business because it covered every aspect of it like accounting, marketing, strategy, human resources etc. It will undoubtedly be beneficial when I start my own business.

What did you most enjoy about your experience at Surrey?

Studying in Surrey was an unforgettable experience. So many countless memories that will always be a special part of my life. I had a great time at every event - whether it was a party, a group project or extracurricular activities and a year flew by in the blink of an eye. Academically, the teachers were extremely helpful if I had any questions about my assignments. Work hard and party harder, as the saying goes. Rubix is always there as a stress reliever after exams, and partying in Rubix is the icing on the cake.

Why should an international student choose Surrey?

It has a lot to offer international students. When I first arrived at the university, I was unsure how long it would take me to adjust because I was in a new country, but it took me less than a month to settle in. 

The teaching staff, the students and people of Guildford are extremely welcoming. 

After a year, visiting uni still feels like visiting a second home in the UK. With an excellent UK ranking and high quality courses, I would definitely recommend Surrey to international students who are interested to pursue their higher studies in the UK.
