LEVEL OF STUDY
When I got to my final year out on placement, I realised how enormously advantageous Surrey’s emphasis on practical day-one skills is.
I enjoy my course so much and I feel super proud to be a vet student at Surrey.
The best bit of learning at Surrey is how hands-on the course is!
I have loved every second of my time at Surrey and how best to top it off with an amazing trip to Uganda.
Contributing knowledge to an area which is completely new is hugely exciting and rewarding.
The staff are helpful and understanding. I have a great tutor, but if I had any issue, I could go to any lecturer and they would help. Surrey has a great community and you do not feel alone.
My first impression of Surrey was that it's a University that wants to help you succeed.
I’ve been grateful to be fully immersed in veterinary practice throughout my placements. There have been opportunities for me to work with a huge variety of species, ranging from sharks to servals!
I worked at Fitzpatrick Referrals, home of The Supervet, and assisted with spinal surgery on a miniature dachshund suffering from intravertebral disc disease.
