From fuelling our growth to helping prevent disease, food  – and what we choose to eat – has a big impact on our lives.

The Department of Nutritional Sciences is home to a vibrant research community and an innovative teaching and learning environment. 

Our programmes are second in the UK by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020 and third in the UK by the Complete University Guide 2020. We achieved 100 per cent overall satisfaction for Nutrition in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2019.
