Digital technologies are opening up new ways of engaging with customers and inspiring innovation in products and services. This category rewards companies that have embraced these opportunities and are demonstrating the potential of our new digital world.

Established in 2014, SDA recognises innovation and progressive thinking by businesses, individuals, events, charities or educational establishments. The winners span several industries, all with a desire to use digital media as a means to achieve greater things for their business.

“We are delighted to be sponsoring the 2016 Surrey Digital Awards and looking forward to reading the nominations to the new Digital Innovation category. We’re looking for organisations large or small that have seized the opportunities of digital technology and are creating new ways of engaging with customers or developing new products and services. Digital technology is transforming every aspect of our lives so from hi-tech innovators to communities with a great idea, we want to hear from all of you.” - Professor Roger Maull, Co-Director of CoDE the Surrey Centre for the Digital Economy, Surrey Business School, University of Surrey.

Entries will be judged by a team of Surrey Business School experts and the new accolade will be presented at the SDA 2016 Presentation Evening, which takes place on March 10, 2016.

At Surrey Business School we pride ourselves on offering courses that are both academically rigorous and practically relevant, and have created a vibrant and stimulating environment in which the faculty, students and alumni work with corporate businesses, SMEs, start-ups, national and local policy-makers, government and the third sector.
