Seventh nationally for student satisfaction in economics

NSS 2014 results show overall satisfaction at 94 per cent.

Student satisfaction with economics programmes at the University of Surrey continues to improve, according to the results of the 2014 National Student Survey (NSS).

Economics rose to seventh place, consolidating its place in the top ten nationally for another year. Overall satisfaction with the programme was 94 per cent, reflecting improved results in areas like personal development, academic support, and assessment and feedback.

The results of the NSS, which gathers opinions from final-year undergraduates on the quality of their courses, saw the University of Surrey as a whole rise to eighth place nationally.
