We 3D‑printed the hand in our Design Centre and assembled it end‑to‑end in the workshop with support from the workshop technicians."

I like the practical aspect of my course, as it allows me to apply what I learn in real time. My favourite project was building a bionic prosthetic hand with my teammates. What do you enjoy most about Surrey?

Surrey has numerous clubs and societies to offer and there definitely is one for everyone.

 

 What do you want to do when you graduate?

I have always wanted to become a neuroscientist and studying biomedical engineering has helped me build the foundation for my future endeavours.

 

Your advice to new students

If you are thinking of studying this course, I would recommend it. There is so much learning, so much experimentation and simply so much fun.
