The School of Health Sciences helps students to become independent researchers and provides unique opportunities to contribute to healthcare systems and policy both locally and globally.

The staff are helpful and understanding. I have a great tutor, but if I had any issue, I could go to any lecturer and they would help. Surrey has a great community and you do not feel alone.

I’ve been grateful to be fully immersed in veterinary practice throughout my placements. There have been opportunities for me to work with a huge variety of species, ranging from sharks to servals!

A Professional Training placement is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience of what you're learning. It also enhances many personal skills and qualities which will be very valuable when you graduate.
