Entry requirements

Our entry requirements vary between programmes. Specific requirements for each course are listed on every course page.

Undergraduate entry requirements

You can find our A-level, BTEC, European Baccalaureate and International Baccalaureate entry requirements, and any specific subject requirements, on our undergraduate course pages. If you are an international student, you can also find your relevant entry requirements on our undergraduate course pages.

International applicants

If you are studying for qualifications in your own country, you will need a suitable equivalent grade to apply for our undergraduate courses.

International pathway programmes

International students who do not meet the direct entry requirements for a course can study a pathway programme at the University of Surrey International Study Centre. Students can choose to study an International Foundation Year programme for progression to an undergraduate degree, or a Pre-Masters Preparation Programme for progression to a postgraduate degree. Upon successful completion, students can progress to degree level study at the University of Surrey.
