Our entry requirements vary between programmes.

Foundation entry requirements

The entry requirements for foundation courses are available on our undergraduate course pages.

To apply for a foundation year course you normally need to have completed your A-levels within the last two years, however those who completed them more than two years ago, or don't have A-levels, may also be considered.

Undergraduate entry requirements

Our A-level, BTEC, European Baccalaureate and International Baccalaureate entry requirements, and any specific subject requirements are available on our undergraduate course pages. International applicants

If you are studying for qualifications in your own country, you will need a suitable equivalent grade to apply for our undergraduate courses.

University preparation programmes

Undergraduate

International students who do not meet the direct entry requirements for an undergraduate degree can study an International Foundation Year at the University of Surrey International Study Centre. Choose one of the following routes:

Postgraduate

Students can apply for a Pre-Masters programme at the University of Surrey International Study Centre, for progression to a postgraduate degree. Choose one of the following routes:

Upon successful completion of either an International Foundation Year or a Pre-Masters programme, students can progress to degree-level study at the University of Surrey.
