Outreach
We want to enthuse and inspire students about electronic engineering and raise awareness of the opportunities in the field and help the community see all the research we are involved with in a fun way.
Activities on offer
We run lots of outreach programmes including comedy nights, summer schools and campus tours.
Live performances
Members of our department take part in Bright Club, a night of comedy, music, art, research, science and performance as well as the science festival, Pint of Science. See what else the University is doing in the community.
Summer schools
We run a residential summer school for year 12 students where they can stay in university accommodation and see what university life would be like.
Guided campus tours
If you are starting to think about universities you'd like to apply to then you can attend a guided campus tour to get a taste of life at Surrey.
Primary and secondary school activities
Throughout the year the University runs various activities for primary school students and secondary school students at all levels.
