- Astronomy Adventures: Join astrophysicists from the School of Mathematics & Physics for constellation activities, astronomy Q&A, and a thrilling escape room-style challenge that’s written in the stars!
- Local Space Industry Showcase: Explore the real-world tech behind satellites with local space employers like Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL). See spacecraft models, propulsion tanks, circuit boards, and satellite panels up close!
- Telescopes on the High Street: Our telescopes are back! Drop by and see what celestial wonders you can spot—planets, stars, maybe even the Moon!
- SEN-Friendly Space Activities at Guildford Library: New this year! Visit Guildford Library for specially designed space-themed activities tailored for children and young people with SEN.
- Space Suit Dress-Up & Photo Fun: Ever dreamed of being an astronaut? Suit up in our fun space costumes and snap a photo to remember your mission!

Space Art Competition - How To Enter

🎨 Call for Entries: Space-Themed Visual Art Competition 🚀
We’re inviting young artists to submit visual artwork in any medium inspired by space—from galaxies and astronauts to rockets and alien worlds!
You can enter in one of two categories:
- KS1/KS2
- KS2/KS3
🏆 Winners will be announced at our World Space Week event, where prizes will be awarded. We strongly encourage all entrants to attend!
📍 Submit your entry either:
