School of Veterinary Medicine IMR Partner Conference 2026

No, if you wish to only attend one day, then you are more than welcome to. Both days are open to all members of staff within your practice that are involved with IMR students.

We are happy to provide complementary accommodation, which will be on site at Manor Park in our University accommodation, with ensuite rooms and continental breakfast included. Accommodation will be provided on a first-come-first-serve basis, capped at two rooms per practice, for Wednesday 25 June and/or Thursday 26 June 2025. We would be so grateful if you could register by Monday 2 June 2025 if you would like accommodation.

Free parking will be available on-site, register for parking - registration will be open from June.

Yes! We cannot wait to see you all and on Thursday evening there will be a BBQ, live band and activities, hosted in the atrium, until 8.30pm. 

Whilst we are delighted to cover the cost of the conference, including food and accommodation, we are regretfully unable to cover travel expenses.

The University of Surrey is based in Guildford, in the South East of England; situated close to the Guildford mainline train station and within a short walk of the town centre. The Manor Park Campus which includes Surrey Sports Park and the School of Veterinary Medicine is located a few minutes drive across the A3 from the University’s main Stag Hill Campus, near the Royal Surrey County Hospital.

By car

Guildford is 30 miles south-west of London, on the A3 London-Portsmouth road. If approaching from London or the M25 (Junction 10), remain on the bypass (A3) until you reach the exit signed to the Cathedral and University. At the roundabout take the third exit signposted Royal Surrey County Hospital and University, Manor Park. Continue under the A3 and straight across the next roundabout into Gill Avenue. Turn left at the traffic lights onto Richard Meyjes Road, then after approximatley 250m take the sharp turning left into the Car Park by the University Creche.

By train

Guildford is on the main line between London Waterloo and Portsmouth. Half-hourly train services run from Guildford to Waterloo, with journey times of around 40 minutes. For further information, go to the National Rail website.
