This course is designed to meet the requirements of qualified IPT practitioners who wish to consolidate and develop their skills to become Senior Practitioners as well as those seeking to progress to Supervisor level.  It is a continuation of the supervised practice undertaken at Level B. The training requires participants to complete two further cases under supervision, so that a minimum of six cases in total from Level B and C Supervised Practice are completed and passed. Where appropriate, and with their supervisor’s agreement, participants can undertake dual focus work at this stage of training.

The supervision takes place over 18 supervision sessions and participants will be required to successfully submit 3 audio recordings for each of the clients (one from each of the assessment, middle and ending phases of treatment). On completion of each case participants will be required to submit and pass a Case Summary. Those candidates who are undertaking IAPT training will additionally be required to work in pairs so that they can co-rate their partner’s audio recordings from these two cases.
