Habit Application and Theory group (HabitAT)

Much everyday human behaviour is done on autopilot, driven by habit. The Habit Application and Theory group (HabitAT) is at the forefront of research to understand and change habits in the real-world.

About us

Run by world-leaders in applied habit psychology, the HabitAT group aims to understand what habits are, and how to make or break real-world habits to achieve lasting behaviour change.

Our ultimate aim is to address pressing societal challenges by developing and applying evidence-based behaviour change strategies.

We are developing and applying the science of habits to inform impactful, real-world behaviour change.
