Tarokh Bahrdo is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Surrey and a researcher with FEVER – Future Electric Vehicle Energy Networks supporting Renewables. He is also a Research Fellow with the Institute for Sustainability and a Student Representative Member of the British Institute of Energy Economics (BIEE). He holds an MRes in Economics from the University of Surrey (UK), an MSc in Oil & Gas Economics from the Petroleum University of Technology (Iran), and a BSc in Theoretical Economics from the University of Isfahan (Iran).
Tarokh’s research interests lie in applied microeconomics, with a focus on energy economics and policy evaluation. His current work examines how energy and transport policies shape the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, market behaviour, and system-level outcomes.
