Postgraduate open evening

Welcome to the University of Surrey

We look forward to seeing you at our postgraduate open evening on Wednesday 15 October 2025 from 6pm - 9pm.

Upon your arrival, please go to our Rik Medlik building reception where we will register your attendance and welcome you.

Please note: Bookings for this event are now closed. Don’t worry, you can still attend by registering on the day. Academic sessions can be booked on arrival, subject to availability.

Event programme

During the event you will be able to discuss your programme options with our academics and speak to current students about postgraduate life at Surrey.

There will be opportunities for you to find out what support is available on campus. We will also have dedicated staff on hand for those who are interested in pursuing PhD study.

To help you make the most of your time on campus, we have created a full schedule of the talks, academic sessions and campus tours.

Please note: The whole evening will take place in the Rik Medlik building.

7pm - 9pm	Network with our current postgraduate students Location: Reception
7pm - 8:15pm	Campus tours Depart every 15 minutes from the reception Six tours running throughout the evening
9pm	Event ends

How to get here

Travelling by train

Once you arrive at Guildford station, hop on our university bus which will leave from the front and back entrance of Guildford train station and then stop at the Piazza on Stag Hill campus (right outside the Rik Medlik building where you will register).

Travelling by car

Please enter GU2 7XH into your sat nav to find us. The University offers free on-site parking which will be signposted when you get here.

If you need an accessible parking space, please email us (campaigns@surrey.ac.uk) before you arrive. We will let you know the most suitable place to park. There is no need to pre-book this parking.
