Managing in the digital economy (with English and entrepreneurship)

Monday 22 July – Friday 26 July 2019

Overview

This summer, students will join us for a stimulating experience packed with learning activities including skill development workshops led by Surrey Business School’s academics, English language lessons and a number of social events.

Students will enjoy our state-of-the-art facilities, including on-campus en-suite accommodation, Surrey Sports Park and learning facilities.

They will experience the charming town of Guildford, and its proximity to central London and international airports, as well as visit the Queen’s favourite home Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world.

The week will provide students the opportunity to enhance their entrepreneurial skills in the digital world and improve their English language skills. Teaching sessions will equip students with vital skills such as value proposition modelling, business modelling canvas and a group project will provide the chance to build a digital app business. The week will end with a group project presentation, awards and a closing dinner.
