Steven Watson is a guitarist, researcher, and composer. He is currently a PhD student at the International Guitar Research Centre at the University of Surrey, where he is researching the history of playing guitar without nails, supervised by Prof. Stephen Goss

Steven will be joined by Stuart McGowan on mandolin. Stuart has had a lifetime of experience playing, arranging, and publishing chamber music with guitar. He has now turned his attention to the mandolin and its music.

The recital will feature a diverse selection of duos and solos by composers including Jacob do Bandolim, Ricardo Zabalés, Steven Watson, and Emilio Pujol.
