Star Gazing at University of Surrey

The Astrophysics Group held the first star gazing event on the 20 October 2016. The event had an incredible turn out with nearly 200 people participating.

The evening began with a really interesting lecture by Dr Michelle Collins, on New Horizons Pluto mission. Michelle showed us some astonishing images of Pluto and told us how this mission has dramatically changed our view of this dwarf planet in the outskirts of our solar system.
