My research project
Exploring health and well-being benefits of food citizenshipThe overarching aim is to promote public health by better understanding the role food citizenship plays in fostering health and offer evidence-based insights for policymakers, community leaders and individuals interested in supporting healthier food systems.
Objectives include: mapping the evidence of health-related outcomes of food citizenship and identifying knowledge gaps, developing a tool to measure food citizenship, exploring the relationship and pathways between food citizenship and social, psychological and physical health and integrate findings to provide a comprehensive overview of the role food citizenship plays in fostering health.
