My research project
Machine learning applied to the study of nuclear reactionsMy project combines machine learning techniques with traditional nuclear reaction codes (e.g. TALYS) and other computational methods to study nuclear data and investigate theoretical models of nuclear reactions. This could enhance our current theoretical understanding of various nuclear systems and phenomena, as well as produce methods of estimating certain observables (e.g. reaction cross sections) which are difficult to measure.
