Undergraduate

The Certificado de Conclusão de Ensino Médio/Certificado de Conclusão de Segundo Grau is considered for entry onto our Foundation Years at Surrey. On the course page on our website, please check to see if there is an option for a Foundation Year before making a UCAS application.

Postgraduate

You can apply for our postgraduate masters courses if you have a Bacharel Licenciatura, Licenciado or professional title from a university in Brazil.

You can apply for our MPhil/PhD courses if you have a masters degree from a university in Brazil.

To apply for one of our postgraduate courses that require a UK 2:1, you must achieve a minimum GPA of 7.5 out of 10. 

For courses that require a 2:2, you must achieve a minimum GPA of 6.5 out of 10.

For courses that require a UK first-class degree to be eligible for a scholarship, you must achieve a GPA of 8.5 out of 10.

Postgraduate pathway programmes

If you do not meet the requirements for a postgraduate course, you can apply for a Pre-Masters Preparation Programme. These pathway programmes are offered by the University of Surrey International Study Centre and are designed in order to develop a student’s academic and English language skills in preparation for postgraduate study.

Upon successful completion, you can progress to a masters degree at the University of Surrey.

English language requirements and courses

All our students require a good standard of English language to be eligible to study with us. If you don’t meet our requirements, we offer intensive pre-sessional English language courses, designed to take you to the level of English ability and skill required for your studies.
