Surrey Business School student receives Exchange Fellowship Award

BSc Accounting & Finance student Stephanie Lee has been awarded the DUO Singapore Exchange Fellowship Award to help fund her exchange at Nanyang Technological University this coming autumn semester.

The DUO Singapore Exchange Fellowship Award is an initiative by the Singapore Government to promote student mobility and is given to a pair of students – one going from a UK higher education institution to Singapore, one heading in the opposite direction.

Awarded on merit, each successful applicant receives €4,000 for one semester of up to six months, which covers airfare, accommodation and living expenses. The DUO Award is open to all European students from UK higher education institutions, with only five pairs of awards presented for each round of applicants.

In order to be eligible, outgoing students must be planning to study at a recognised and pre-approved higher education institution in Singapore for a minimum of one semester. The University of Surrey has a partner relationship with two such institutions: Nanyang Technical University and Singapore Management University.
