Surrey EU undergraduate scholarships 2021 entry
The University is delighted to announce that we are offering scholarships to new undergraduate students from the European Union who start their course at the University in the 2021/22 academic year.
About
The scholarships will be awards of £5,000 per year of study (excluding the Professional Training Year) in the form of a fee discount. This will include all years of integrated Masters courses (excluding the Professional Training Year).
Eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible, applicants must be:
- Ordinarily resident in an EU member state or would have met the criteria for home fee status when the UK was a member of the European Union
- An overseas fee-paying student (this scholarship is not available for students eligible for UK fees). If your fee status changed to home fee during the course of your studies, you would no longer be eligible for the scholarship
- Registering on the first year of a full-time undergraduate (including courses with a UK foundation year) with a September/October 2021 start date
- Self-funded.
Eligible students who start at the Surrey International Study Centre in 2021/22 will not receive this scholarship for the international foundation year but will receive it for each year of their undergraduate degree (except for the Professional Training Year).
How to apply
There is no formal application for this scholarship. All offer holders will be considered against the stated criteria and, if successful, the award will be paid in the form of a tuition fee discount.
Final decisions on the eligibility of applicants and allocation of scholarships will be made by the University of Surrey’s Student Recruitment Team.
