Biography
Dr. Anirban Sarkar received his Ph. D. degree in Physics in 2017 from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. His doctoral research was focused on studying the lasing modes in active disordered optofluidic and polymer structures. After completing his Ph.D., he joined Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire de Physique, CNRS, Université Grenoble Alpes, France as a postdoctoral research fellow and worked on quantitative bio-imaging through aberrating and scattering media. He joined Advanced Institute of Technology, University of Surrey in 2020 as a research fellow (post doc) and has been working on the ERC project 'Optical Ultra-Sensor'.
