I qualified with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Surrey. Since then I have worked in both the public and private sector including working within the NHS in a specialist hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery role in an acute hospital. Since moving into my role here at the University, I maintain my clinical skills and dietetic practice knowledge through continued work in the NHS as a specialist mental health dietitian within high secure services.
My areas of interest include are teaching nutrition and dietetics in practice, surgical dietetic management and dietetic input in mental health services.
