International Tourism Management BSc (Hons)

"I enjoy the content on my course because it presents up-to-date international issues in the tourism, events and hospitality industry. I also like that we have to submit group assignments which involves communicating, co-operating and working with others to achieve common goals. I find this is all helpful in preparing us for our future careers!

The best thing about living in University accommodation is the social aspect. In my first year, 10 of us shared a kitchen and there was always something to talk about. I am happy that I made a lot of friends through that experience.

"The Surrey campus is a great place to relax, especially in spring and summer time."

I like the Surrey campus very much, especially the lake and the surrounding areas as I am passionate about nature. It’s also a great place to relax, especially in spring and summer time when the weather allows it.

In the winter, I mostly grab a coffee with my friends or lunch at Hillside. Guildford’s location is also great – it’s close to the airports and London and Oxford where I usually spend my weekends.

My best moment at Surrey so far has been my time as a student ambassador. Thanks to this opportunity I met a lot of people that I am now happy to call friends. We are all really close and enjoy spending time together."
