UK Sovereignty in an Age of Brexit
Part of a series of events to engage with various aspects of the Brexit debate, this evening event will offer a range of perspectives on the effect of Brexit on UK sovereignty and what it means for the UK's future.
University of Surrey
As the UK moves towards the hard end of making decisions about Brexit, it is timely to consider the impacts on the sovereignty of the UK. With this in mind, we are pleased to be able to bring together several leading authorities on the EU on this very subject.
The evening event will offer a range of perspectives on the impact of Brexit, highlighting the extent to which the proposed uncoupling of the United Kingdom and European Union will effect the UK's sovereignty, which was one of the headline issues during the hotly contested Referendum of 2016.
This event will be of interest to all those connected or interested in Brexit and the future of the UK, especially for those seeking to understand the dynamics of how economic, judicial and other factors can affect UK sovereignty and how it relates to the choices that the UK and EU are making.
The programme will be as follows:
6pm to 7pm Registration and coffee
7pm to 8.30pm Panel and Q&A
