Grundy Educational Trust Awards 2021 entry

The Grundy Educational Trust was established in 1991 to support Home/UK postgraduate STEM students who need financial assistance with their living costs.

The scholarship aims is to support and advance education in STEM subjects by providing postgraduate awards to students for research and higher education.

Every year the Grundy Educational Trust provide awards of between £1,200 and £4,500 to up to ten successful candidates. Awards are paid in three equal termly instalments directly by the trust.

The scholarship aims is to support and advance education in STEM subjects by providing postgraduate awards to students for research and higher education, and lead to a career in STEM disciplines in industry, commerce or the professions or further education.

Award

Every year the Grundy Educational Trust provide awards of between £1,200 and £4,500 to up to ten successful candidates. Awards are paid in three equal termly instalments directly by the trust.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for this award, you must:

  • be a citizen or resident of the United Kingdom.
  • have an offer to study a postgraduate STEM programme (sciences, technology, engineering, mathematics) in 2021/22. You can still apply if you have already started your postgraduate studies in a STEM subject.
  • have a demonstrable financial need.

How to apply

To apply for the Grundy Educational Trust Postgraduate Awards please complete the online application form. and, separately, submit your statement of support as detailed at point 9 in the "Guide to completing your Grundy Educational Trust application". Please take a copy of your full application so that you can refer to it, should you be shortlisted and invited for an interview.

If you are shortlisted for this award you will be contacted by the Grundy Educational Trust directly and invited to attend an interview with the trustees. (Interviews will take place in June 2021 in Guildford)
