£1,000 bursary available to one new Social Research Methods MSc student for 2019/20.

Thanks to the generosity of the family of former student Thomas Asdell the department is pleased to offer a bursary of £1000 to one new Social Research Methods MSc student for 2020/21.

Eligibility criteria

To be considered for the Thomas Asdell Bursary you must have studied at FHEQ level 7 and be a self-funded UK/EU student with an IELTS score of 7.0 overall with 6.0 in each element.

You must be an offer holder for Social Research Methods MSc starting in the academic year 2019/20.

How to apply

The closing date to be considered for the bursary is 26 June 2020. All students who have applied for the academic year 2020/21 by this date will be considered for the Thomas Asdell Bursary.

Eligible applications will be assessed on grounds of academic merit and the written information provided with the standard University application form.

Applications will be evaluated by a committee comprising of the programme directors and head of department or a nominated deputy.
