As a student studying International Hospitality Management, the Lakeside restaurant and coffee shop forms an integral part of your educational experience in the first year.
Students will gain experience of working in a busy coffee shop and working with our professional team of chefs and front of house team. You will learn about team dynamics and leadership – all important skills in the hospitality and tourism industries.
The restaurant and the café both provide training environments for the School’s International Hospitality Management students.
In the restaurant, under the expert guidance of Lakeside’s professional team, the students are given full responsibility to:
- Manage the restaurant
- Plan menus
- Implement marketing strategies
- Manage budgets
- Produce and serve the finest seasonal dishes, fresh to order.
