Undergraduate

We consider a range of high school qualifications for entry onto our undergraduate courses.

If you do not meet the direct entry requirements for a course, you can apply to study an International Foundation Year programme at the University of Surrey International Study Centre. Upon successful completion, you can progress to an undergraduate degree at the University of Surrey.

Postgraduate

To enrol on a masters course at Surrey, you will need the equivalent of a 2:1 or 2:2 degree from a recognised university.

Guyana Master's degree from University of Guyana with 3.2/4 GPA overall. Master's degree from University of Guyana with 3.0/4 GPA overall.
Peru Título de Licenciado (four years) with 13/20 overall. Título de Licenciado (four years) with 12/20 overall.
Uruguay Título de Licenciado / Título de [professional field] (four years) with 9.0/12 overall. Título de Licenciado / Título de [professional field] (four years) with 7.0/12 overall.
Venezuela  Licenciatura / Título de [professional field] with 81%, 8/9 or 16/20 overall (sobresaliente / outstanding). Licenciatura / Título de [professional field] with 71%, 7/9 or 14/20 overall (distinguido / very good).

Postgraduate pathway programmes

International students who do not meet the requirements for a postgraduate course have the opportunity to apply for a Pre-Masters Preparation Programme. These pathway programmes are offered by the University of Surrey International Study Centre and are designed in order to develop student’s academic and English language skills in preparation for postgraduate study.

Upon successful completion, students can progress to a Masters degree at the University of Surrey.

English language requirements and courses

All our students require a good standard of English language to be eligible to study with us. If you don’t meet our requirements, we offer intensive pre-sessional English language courses, designed to take you to the level of English ability and skill required for your studies.
