Biography
I am Professor of Virology at the University of Surrey, United Kingdom. I obtained my PhD in Virology in the University of Barcelona. After post-doctoral training with Claude Krummenacher and Gary Cohen at the University of Pennsylvania and with Geoffrey Smith at Imperial College London and the University of Cmabridge, in 2014 I established my independent research group in the University of Surrey where I am leading a team that investigates host responses to virus infection and virus-host interactions. We are funded by the main UK research councils as well as some private foundations.
