"Several opportunities are available when you study this course, one of them being the Professional Training placement. I cannot wait to take it on in my third year so I can get a taste of the workplace within my field.

My lecturers and professors are brilliant and, better yet, incredibly dedicated to their fields. They really bring good energy into the learning environment and are always open to go the extra mile in helping us understand concepts.

At the Welcome Fair I was introduced to the many clubs and societies the University has to offer. They are a really good way to meet people with similar interests to your own and make friends as well. I’ve picked up martial arts and joined a volunteering society so far.

"Being only 20 minutes away from campus and 10 minutes away from the superstore, everything I need is conveniently close."

I am currently living in Manor Park student accommodation and I love it. Most days, it is alive with student activities so there is always something to do and new people to meet. Being only 20 minutes away from campus and 10 minutes away from the superstore, everything I need is conveniently close. There is also a sense of security within the student community which is comforting especially when you’re in a new environment such as this one.

Guildford is a calm, friendly, self-contained town, but it is also close to the bigger and more vibrant London; so we really do get the best of both worlds."
