IPROCOM fellow received research award

IPROCOM fellow, Mr Hossam M Zawbaa, received research award from Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI), Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, Romania.

The Research Award recognises the outstanding visibility and significant international impact of Romanian research published in prestigious journals. There are a total of 222 eligible entries from all universities and institutes in Romania. 

Among these, Mr Hossam M Zawbaa won the Research Award for the following two journal papers published in 2015:

1. "Retinal blood vessel localization approach based on bee colony swarm optimization, fuzzy c-means and pattern search", International Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation, Vol. 31, 186-196, 2015.

2. "Binary Grey Wolf Optimization Approaches for Feature Selection", International Journal of Neurocomputing, Vol. 172, 371-381, 2015.
