Surrey Business School joins Women in Business Expo 2020
Following the success of last year’s Women in Business Expo (WIBE), Surrey Business School is pleased to announce the continuation of its partnership with the two-day event that will run virtually this year.
The event which takes place on 14 and 15 October boasts a packed seminar programme consisting of keynotes and panel discussions. Designed for all women at any stage of their professional journey, the event is a great opportunity to learn from business leaders, professionals and specialists, as they share their success stories and insights to help others act and grow professionally.
This year, keynote speakers include Baroness Karren Brady CBE, Vice Chairwoman of West Ham FC, Farrah Storr, Editor-in-Chief of Elle UK and June Sarpong OBE, Presenter and Award-Winning Author. Surrey Business School will exhibit amongst a selection of start-ups, SMEs and large corporates including GlaxoSmithKline, Sky, Starling Bank, TikTok and Goldman Sachs.
Joining this year’s seminar line-up is Fiona Sweny, Surrey MBA Alumni and Founder of Ingo Health who will share her experiences of life on the Surrey MBA and how she managed to balance her studies with a family whilst navigating her career crossroad.
“The WIBE is an incredibly important event that takes place each year, providing a platform for professional women throughout the UK to connect with one another, be inspired by the success of others, and discover opportunities to continue learning and growing. The Surrey MBA is one such opportunity, and our Women in Leadership scholarship programme is designed specifically to support the aspirations of women in business.”
