Graduating students from the Digital Media Arts programme invited friends, family and industry guests to attend a private screening in the prestigious BFI Southbank Cinema in London followed by an interactive exhibition of original work.

Guests enjoyed an enormously stimulating afternoon which demonstrated the extensive range of creative disciplines studied throughout the programme including film, animation, VFX, game design, virtual reality and immersive media. The accompanying exhibition included seven large screens with rolling work from all year groups of the course. Special awards were also given out, including an audience-selected accolade for “Best in show”, collected by Louisa Filary who is soon to graduate.

Jon Weinbren, Digital Media Arts Programme Director, said: “Digital Media Arts is a convergence of creative arts and digital technologies, through which we can share stories and experience for our entertainment, edification and enlightenment. Students graduating from the programme are equipped with a fantastic range of skills, which puts them at the forefront of the audio visual production industries now and into the future. It’s a very exciting place to be.”
