Research excellence

REF 2014 logo

60 per cent of our computer science and informatics research was rated world leading or internationally excellent in the latest UK Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014). Surrey has risen to 22nd place among 106 institutions for ‘Research Power.’

What we are researching

We have a number of research areas within each of our three research centres and groups. We also have our affiliated centre, the Digital World Research Centre.

View our research papers on the Surrey Research Insight website or take a look at our staff pages to see individual publications.

We have a range of research projects that our staff and students are involved with that will help impact the world around us and improve our way of life.
