Nursing ethics expert debates the issues surrounding the care of Moors murderer Ian Brady
Dr Ann Gallagher comments on the ethics of force-feeding.
Dr Gallagher, Reader in Nursing Ethics and Director of the International Centre for Nursing Ethics, has written articles and appeared on radio to discuss the ethical questions raised by the mental health tribunal about the care of Ian Brady.
Brady is alleged to have been on hunger strike since 1999 and is being fed through a tube in his nose.
