School of Law jumps up the Guardian University Guide

The School of Law at the University of Surrey has leapt up the rankings in the 2014 Guardian University Guide, rising by 16 places to 18th in the annual league tables.

After moving up nine places in the 2013 rankings, Surrey has jumped dramatically up the Law league tables again this year – breaking into the top 20 in the country in the process.

Law at Surrey has been on the rise for a number of reasons. The Surrey European Law Unit (SELU) the Environmental Regulatory Research Group (ERRG) and the Surrey International Law Centre (SILC) ensure that world-class research is at the heart of the School, while superb new facilities – with dedicated teaching rooms, computer labs, and a new Law Library – provide a vibrant, interactive learning environment.

The School’s success reflects that of the University as a whole, with Surrey climbing to 8th in the Guardian’s overall University rankings.
