Surrey jumps 100 places in the THE world rankings

The University of Surrey has increased its position the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

The THE World University Rankings lists the world's top 800 universities. Surrey ranks within the 251 to 300 zone in the 2015-2016 league table, up 114 places compared to 2014. The University improved its scores in teaching, research, citations and international outlook.

Professor Vince Emery, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International Relations) said: “This result comes on the back of our recent 67-place improvement in the QS international league table and is further testament to the global impact of the University. 

“I am particularly pleased with our 50 per cent improvement in citation impact score, reflecting the contribution of all our academic staff to producing world leading research with high impact.”
