I feel the need to thank my co-authors and students who also share part of this double success”.
Professor Nickolaos Travlos commented on Professor Dimitris Petmezas’ awards: “I am delighted that Dimitris Petmezas has received these 2 awards. This is not a surprise to me as Dimitris Petmezas is one of the most prolific authors in the UK. His research has a great impact and his studies particularly on M&As have made a fundamental change in thinking on the subject. Dimitris is also a great advisor and mentor which is reflected by the fact that his PhD students succeed on a routine basis. I firmly believe that Dimitris Petmezas is an endurable asset for the University of Surrey and it is a privilege for Surrey Business School to have academics of Dimitris’ quality”.
