Lab’s first Stage 1 Registered Report

The lab has had their first Stage 1 Registered Report accepted in Developmental Science.

This paper is part of the Block Construction Skills for Mathematics (BLOCS) project which is funded by the Leverhulme Foundation. In the proposed project, we will assess the impact of Lego construction training on spatial and mathematical skills in 7- to 9-year-old children. We will also compare the impact of physical and digital Lego construction training. The proposed research contributes to a theoretical understanding of the causality of relationships between Lego construction ability and spatial and mathematical skills. We are very excited to get started with our data collection.
