New paper published on Spatial language, Maths and Spatial skills in childhood
Led by Katie Gilligan-Lee, the lab has a new publication in the journal Learning and Instruction.
In our paper we present a new task for measuring spatial language in children aged 6 to 10 years and show that comprehension skills are stronger than production skills at all ages. We also found that spatial language is associated with performance on a range of spatial and mathematics skills. We hope that this paper will lay the foundation for a future spatial language intervention study.
