Student midwife shortlisted for national award
Maddy Taggart, an undergraduate midwifery student at Surrey, has been shortlisted for the Royal College of Midwives Student Midwife of the Year award.

The 22 year-old, who is completing her training at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, has been praised by expectant mothers as a ‘kind, caring and incredible midwife.’
Maddy Taggart, said: “I am delighted to be a finalist for this award. Being a midwife has always been a dream of mine and it is such an honour to be a part of so many life changing moments with local families.”
