Surrey Music students to perform O2 Academy gig

This September, as part of the ‘Loud in London’ Series, second year Music student Bradley Aaron and his band will perform original material live at the O2 Academy in Islington.

Impressed by his latest release ‘Look at me, You’re free’ on Spotify, and a recent performance in The Bedford, Balham, Loud in London approached Bradley with an opportunity to perform at the O2 Academy.

Bradley says: “Our band got together at Surrey University. Both Nick Wyatt and I had attended the BRIT school together prior to Uni and although we didn’t know each other extremely well back then, as we were in different years, we hit it off really well at Surrey after working together on the musical theatre music project module, in our first year.”

With third-year Music and Sound Recording (Tonmeister) student Josh Leigh on drums ,and third-year Music student Ben Uden on bass guitar, the band are set to support up and coming artist KMAX on the 26th September.

Located in vibrant North London, O2 Academy Islington hosts live music and club nights from established acts looking for an intimate performance atmosphere and new and emerging artists cutting their teeth in the capital. The venue boasts an impressive history, with acts including Muse, The Cure, Eminem, Beck, KISS, Biffy Clyro and The Script all playing at the venue in its early years.

Tickets are £11.25 and can be booked through https://academymusicgroup.com/o2academyislington/
